How do i know if he's the one?

im 22 and have been with my boyfriend for 3 years now. we have had alot of ups and downs and have broken up before. i love him alot but sometimes i feel like we live totally different lives nd have different views on everything. im not sure he is the right person to spend my life with but i am completely in love with him. do i stay with the one i love? or spend my life wondering what else was out there? he wants to live with me and marry me within the next few years. he loves me more than ive ever been loved. he is the most loyal and cuddly person ive ever been with and his family are like my own. i just dont know... sometimes i feel like we are missing that communication. we never just have a conversation. or are these all things that can be worked on? im lost. help.
