Should i go out with him?

ok ive known this dude since i was like 4 and hes always liked me and has even has asked me out but i said i would think about it but never got back to him. he is really kinda perverted but not so much anymore, hes gone out with tons of girls, and on friday he said he liked my best friend krista, i told her and she turned him down, then he asked if i could ask my other friend sammi ( keep in mind we were all at a football game together) she also turned him down, the he just texted me tonight and said " you know i like you?' and i said u do (ps ive always known he kinda likes me) i said umm thx thats really sweet ,then he asked if i liked him and i said i thought you like krista, but he said he liked me more and then i said i would talk about it l8er, cause i dont know what to do. i think he might just want to have a girlfriend, but yet again hes always kind of liked me. i told my brother, and he said to say no cause hes stupid and tries to be cool, and i dont know if i have feelings for him, or if i just have feelings for being in love (i have never had a boyfriend) i think my bff would think im weird cause i always make fun of him with her cause hes a pervert and hes a player, so i dont know what to do? help me!!! should i go out with him or not?
