When a chinchilla is very young at the time of adoption, could I possibly train it to be more cuddly?

I'm getting a Chinchilla soon, specifically around a younger age. Maybe a few weeks after it is birthed, could I train it to be a bit more cuddly and lovable? I know most chinchilla's are very skittish but if I give it enough cuddly affection at a young age, will it eventually learn to enjoy it?
