Okay, so I need some boy help please?

I am a thirteen year old girl who will be 14 in august (and PLEASE don't give me any lectures on why I shouldn't date and how I'm too young!!) and I like this boy, James. He JUST turned 15 in March and I have known him since he was 10. Any way, for the first three years that I have known him, I had a crush on him, and I liked a few different boys in the last year and now I like James again. I walked into rehersal for the Handbell choir that we are both in, and he greeted me by saying "Hey Beautiful." (that was 3 weeks ago) and I was so excited all night long! and then last sunday, He told my best friend Krista at church that his plan was to call me beautiful to try and find out if I liked him, and Krista asked if he likes me and he said yes. She told me, and I called him tuesday just to make sure that was true and to tell him that I like him too, and he said that on Monday, a girl named Sarah who goes to a homeschool co-op with him told a bunch of people that her and James were dating, and he said since he kinda liked her, he didn't want to "break up" with her. (by the way, neither of us are technically allowed to date) And now he knows that I like him, and he likes me, but he obviously likes her better! and I am leaving town at the end of may and I am not going to see him until the end of august, and so I don't know what to do! should I try and get over him? should I wait until they are no longer dating?? Im so confused, help would be greatly appreciated! thank you!
