How can I make my kitten more lovable/cuddly?

She is 2 and a half months old and she LOVES to play. But the only thing I don't like is that she hates being touched or held. No nothing is wrong with her, she just cries when we hold her. She doesn't like being cuddly and cute, and I'd really love for her to let us hold her. Why do you think this is happening? Or how can i get her to like us enough to let her hold her without crying?
